As the Sandusky trial caused a lot of traffic issues on Allegheny Street in Bellefonte, it did not cause one of the favorite events of the year to be stopped. The media trucks cleared the street, a stage was built, and the sidewalks were lined with people of all ages for the annual Bellefonte Cruise.
After the cars cruised, and reved their engines the street was closed down as the sock hop took over with some of the best classic tunes.
The festivities continued on Saturday with the car show and more live music.
