PIAA State Championships

Spent the weekend covering the PIAA Basketball State Championships at the Bryce Jordan Center. Four games is a lot to sit on the hardwood.

The first game I covered was an exciting AAAA girls game with probably the best celebration that I covered for the weekend.

NCAA Women's Basketball First Round

I got to cover the first round of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament at the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday afternoon. NCAA boxed out the photographer spots on the floor, and I was left with a good position on both ends of the court to follow Penn State. It was a high speed game from the start filled with great expressions.

Penn State won, 75-66 and will move on to the second round.

I stayed to photograph the other first round game, since the winner will be playing Penn State on Monday night. DePaul beat Navy, 56-43.

Lincoln Logs

Today I photographed a Lincoln Log Dream Home Contest at the Home Show of Central Pennsylvania. Four to six year olds had an hour to build and then were judged on design, creativity, and overall of their structures. I was jealous, I wanted to build one too!

Penn State Basketball

Sorry things have been a little crazy in my life lately and I haven't had a chance to update in a while.

I officially started my first real person job this week! I am now a full time photographer with the Centre Daily Times in State College. On my first night I got to tag along with one of the other staffers and covered the Penn State vs Ohio State Basketball game. It was senior night for the Lions. Here are some of my favorites.
